Salvation in Jesus, pre - and post Calvary!
Question: What does David mean in the verse of Romans 4:6? What is the meaning of this verse?
The answer is in vs. 7&8!
It is because of the forgiveness inherent in the Sacrificial Death of Christ Jesus; which in David's case was “pre-operative” due to his faith in Gods’ provision which he knew and relied on in Faith!
This “principle” was expressed to Israel in the “Old Covenant” (Testament); but became inoperative to many (most) Jews after Acts 28:25–28; when they rejected Jesus as Messiah (see Isa. 6:9–10); and they became “Lo-Ammi”; (not My people); which will remain with them until the events of Zech. 12:10!
This is known as pre. and post Cross Salvation by “Faith”!
